We are excited to add Liz Crittenden to the Council’s Education & Support team. Please join us in welcoming Liz!

Hi, my name is Liz Crittenden. I grew up in Alaska, and as an adult I have lived all over the US (literally from coast to coast). I moved to the Olympia area in 2021 and am in love with how beautiful this state is. I studied Health Sciences at Midlands Technical College in South Carolina where I earned an Associates before transferring to Purdue University to complete a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. I have a caregiving background and have worked in various home health care settings off and on since 2016. Most recently I managed the 24-hour care program for a non-profit supported living agency serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Thurston County. During that time, I developed and presented trainings, advocated for resident and staff supports, and worked closely with DSHS DDA Case Managers and outside agencies. I have an unending amount of respect for those who dedicate their lives to caring for and improving the lives of others. I am so excited to be joining the Education & Support team here at the Adult Family Home Council and look forward to working with you all!
