Description:

This two-part series explores the impact of forced migration through a trauma-informed lens, with a focus on refugees, asylees, and survivors of displacement. Participants will gain insight into cultural humility, mental health challenges, and post-migration stressors while learning how to provide person-centered, trauma-informed care. The course also addresses common barriers to care, culturally responsive communication, and the importance of community and resilience in recovery.
