Infection Prevention Nurse Consultants from the Washington State Department of Health Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Section (WA DOH HAIAR) will present and facilitate breakout groups on:
- What is Epidemic Preparedness and Response?
- Why is it important?
- How do I apply the Epidemic Preparedness and Response Guidelines to the AFH Infection Prevention and Control program?
- Learning Objectives
- Define what Epidemic Preparedness and Response means.
- Name 2 resources available from Clark County Public Health for Infection Prevention and Control
- Name 2 resources available from the WA DOH HAIAR for Infection Prevention and Control
- Name 3 of the 4 core elements in the Epidemic and Preparedness and Response Guidelines
