- Please join us for an interactive session to review Epidemic Preparedness and Response Guidelines with an emphasis on Infectious Prevention and Control. Infection Prevention Nurse Consultants from the Washington State Department of Health Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Section (WA DOH HAIAR) will present and facilitate breakout groups on:
- What is Epidemic Preparedness and Response?
- Why is it important?
- How do I apply the Epidemic Preparedness and Response Guidelines to the AFH Infection Prevention and Control program?
- Learning Objectives
- Define what Epidemic Preparedness and Response means.
- Name 2 resources available from Clark County Public Health for Infection Prevention and Control
- Name 2 resources available from the WA DOH HAIAR for Infection Prevention and Control
- Name 3 of the 4 core elements in the Epidemic and Preparedness and Response Guidelines
1 hour of CE is available for members who attend the entire presentation.
