Adult Family Home Claims & Billing Trainings Now Available Through AFHC
The Council has partnered with the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) and Community Health Partnership Services (CHPS) to offer the Adult Family Home Claims & Billing trainings directly through the AFHC webinar platform.
These are the same trainings provided by CHPS but hosted on the AFH Council webinar platform to make registration, access, and participation easier for providers. Participants will receive 2.0 continuing education credits.
Upcoming training dates:
May 8 at 1:00 PM
May 11 at 11:00 AM
May 18 at 1:00 PM
May 26 at 2:00 PM
These webinars will provide an overview of the new Adult Family Home Clearinghouse and how it is designed to streamline work with Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). Participants will learn how to register, use the online platform, submit claims correctly for CBHS and IBSS services, complete provider enrollment, and better understand key Medicaid billing guidelines and troubleshooting tips.
We know this transition has created questions and challenges for many providers, and we appreciate your feedback. Bringing these trainings to the AFHC platform is one way we are working to make access easier and better support your needs.
