The Adult Family Home Council is pleased to announce that Braiden Dobson has been appointed as Interim Director to fill the Region 6 vacancy on the AFHC Board of Directors, previously held by Michelle Simmons.

Braiden is a dedicated husband and father of five who brings years of hands-on experience as an owner and operator of an Adult Family Home specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Since opening his home in 2020, he has focused on creating supportive, person-centered, family environments for the individuals and families he serves.

In addition to his work as a provider, Braiden is an active advocate in the I/DD community and serves on the Board of Directors for PEACENW, where he supports and empowers individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. An Eagle Scout with a background in public service and residential construction operations, Braiden brings a practical, well-rounded perspective to board governance.

**In accordance with AFHC bylaws, when a vacancy occurs on the Board of Directors, the Board may appoint an Interim Director to serve the remainder of the unexpired term.**
