
ProviderOne Claims Submission Deadline and Payment Date Changes
The Health Care Authority (HCA) announced temporary changes to ProviderOne claims submission deadlines and payment schedules due to the observance of Juneteenth and the end of the State Fiscal Year. These adjustments are intended to ensure providers continue to receive timely payments and remittance advices (RAs) during the affected weeks.
Providers should be aware that claims submission deadlines have been moved up for certain weeks and corresponding payment and remittance advice dates have also changed.
Changes Due to Juneteenth
For the week of June 15, 2026, ProviderOne claims processing schedules have been adjusted due to the Juneteenth holiday.
The claims submission deadline has been moved to:
- 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2026
Payment and Remittance Advice (RA) distribution has been changed to:
- Thursday, June 18, 2026
Changes Due to State Fiscal Year End
Additional schedule adjustments will occur during the State Fiscal Year End processing period.
For the week of June 29, 2026:
- Claims submission deadline: 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2026
- Payment and Remittance Advice date: Wednesday, July 1, 2026
For the week of July 6, 2026:
- Claims submission deadline: 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2026
- Payment and Remittance Advice date: Wednesday, July 8, 2026
Recommended Steps for AFH Providers
In light of these temporary schedule changes, providers are encouraged to:
- Review upcoming claims submission deadlines and adjust billing schedules accordingly.
- Submit claims as early as possible to avoid missing revised deadlines.
- Notify billing staff and any third-party billing vendors of the schedule changes.
- Monitor ProviderOne payment and Remittance Advice dates during the affected weeks.
- Plan cash flow and operational expenses with the adjusted payment schedule in mind.
