The AFH Council Celebrates Public Service Recognition Week!
Adult Family Homes are successful in part because of the partnership we enjoy with so many public service employees. All of our work is made possible from employees at DSHS, Labor and Industries, Department of Health, Health Care Authority, and municipal employees. That is why the Adult Family Home Council is proud to join in the celebration of national Public Service Recognition Week, May 5-11.
In honor of the work these employees do in furtherance of their community, we want to take this moment to say thank you. We agree with the national proclamation that in part states, “Our Nation relies on our public servants every day, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.”

The participation of every adult family home is vital to ensuring fair regulations and rates that accurately reflect the costs of caring for our vulnerable adults.
