The Adult Family Home Council is hiring for two key positions that will strengthen our ability to support providers across the state: an Education Coordinator and an additional Member Support staff position. These roles reflect both the growth of the adult family home community and the increasing demand for timely education, guidance, and regulatory support.
The Education Coordinator will help lead and coordinate AFHC’s education offerings, including chapter meetings conferences, webinars, and training events. This role will focus on planning, logistics, and coordination, as well as supporting the development and delivery of high‑quality educational content that responds to the real‑world needs of adult family home providers. The position will work closely with the rest of the AFHC team to ensure that education is accessible, relevant, and practical.
At the same time, AFHC is also planning to add another Member Support staff position. Our Member Support team has seen a significant increase in calls, emails, and consultation requests, particularly around regulatory questions, compliance concerns, and urgent operational issues. In some cases, providers need a response within a day to safely and confidently navigate a situation. Adding capacity on the phones and inboxes will help us respond more quickly, reduce wait times, and make sure that providers can reach someone when they need support.
Adult family home providers and others with relevant experience who are interested in contributing to the Council’s work are encouraged to apply.
