Tammy Stimach

The Arbor Rose Inc | Tacoma

I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the Adult Family Home Council (AFHC) Board once again! During my previous term, we achieved something incredible by opening an office, marking a significant milestone for adult family home owners.

Since then, we’ve seen many changes in laws and regulations, and our industry has doubled in size. I had the honor of designing the essential OSHA manual twice and, as a former Administrator teacher, I proudly taught over 600 students. With 23 years of experience as a provider, managing two homes in Tacoma, I’ve had the privilege of caring for over 440 residents.

I’m always available to assist providers, answering calls and offering support whenever needed. I’ve opened my doors for tours, showcasing best practices to fellow providers.

After winning a crucial lawsuit this fall, it’s clear we need to raise our standards. Minimum standards are not enough; we need high-level AFHs with fewer citations and better care documentation. One of my missions has been to improve Synkwise, requesting 175 changes to enhance documentation and electronic charting for adult family homes.

Today, our focus on education, support, and advocacy is more crucial than ever. We need all adult family homes to get involved. As some of us OGs retire, it’s vital to support the next generation of providers.

Being on the AFHC board means setting an example and leading the AFHC office. I would be honored to have your vote and bring my extensive knowledge to help all current and future providers exceed minimum standards. I hope I can count on your vote to represent AFH owners for another term.

Vote for Tammy – I will work hard for you!

Endrias Wolderufael

A Home Like AFH‎‎ LLC ‎ |‎ ‎ Marysville

My name is Endrias and I have been running my first Adult Family Home‘s since 2016 and later on added a second one in 2021 serving the Marysville area.  I understand operating an AFH is such a huge responsibility and I have tried to gain as much knowledge as I possible and  I now share  Knowledges that I have to other fellow providers in order to make sure I clarify things and suggesting ideas for them to maneuver from whatever challenges they facing. The past few months being on the board seat taught me so much and helped me to share individual concerns of providers and share it with the board and bring solutions back to AFH communities . I would like to continue doing that and serve the AFH community with the full term which I am running at the moment and would like to ask your vote in order to achieve that goal.
