AFHC Phone System Update

Our new phone system is now live!

We heard your concerns about calls going straight to voicemail, and this new system is designed to improve your experience.

When you call the Council, you can now select the department you need right away, whether that’s marketing, education, member accounts, the executive director, or member support. This means fewer transfers and faster connections to the right person.

For member support, you now have the option to Stay on the line and wait for the next available team member, or Press 1 at any time to leave a voicemail.

This ensures you no longer go straight to voicemail when our team is assisting other members.

This new system also allows us to better track and improve our service by monitoring:

  • Average hold times
  • Average call length

We’ll use this information to continue improving your experience.
