COMING SOON: Worker Safety Awareness Program

We’re pleased to share that an updated version of one of our most valuable safety training resources is launching soon. On June 16, 2026, the Adult Family Home Industry Worker Safety Awareness Program will be released with enhanced training designed to make workplace safety more accessible, practical, and relevant for providers and staff.

The updated e-course features more than 45 short, interactive micro-modules, along with educational PDFs, knowledge checks, and quizzes. Each module is designed to be completed in 15 minutes or less, making it easier to integrate into busy schedules. Topics include personal protective equipment (PPE), ergonomics, hazardous drugs, and other common workplace safety concerns, as well as L&I rules, requirements, and regulations.

Participants who complete the program will earn continuing education credits and gain practical tools to help reduce workplace injuries and support a safer environment in Adult Family Homes. The focus is straightforward: strengthening safety practices to support both caregivers and the individuals they serve.

Additional details will be shared in May. We look forward to bringing this updated program to our members.
