Attention: CBHS Billing Corrections Underway
HCA is also working with MCOs and providers to correct past CBHS billing submissions. Some claims were submitted with errors related to:
Provider taxonomy.
Atypical provider identifiers.
MCOs will contact affected AFHs directly with instructions for resolving these issues. Providers should expect outreach that may include an attestation form and specific correction steps.
Prompt response is critical to avoid payment delays or compliance concerns. Providers are encouraged to monitor both email and mail for communications from MCOs and act quickly on any requests.
