Messaging on AFHC Board Election

Dear Adult Family Home Council members.

The Council and the Board of Directors are committed to full transparency. As part of our commitment, we need to let you know that there was an issue with the board voting process.

A technical error occurred in the recording of some voters’ selections. This issue is currently being addressed through our website vendor, Itirra’s, data review process and by direct outreach to affected voters to confirm their selections. This ensures that all votes are accurately recorded and that the integrity of the election is fully maintained. We apologize for the error and any challenges that this may have caused you. We will complete the current election vote confirmation process by the end of next week and will share the results with membership at that time.

Moving forward we commit to a review of our system of how members vote, and rigorous testing before we roll out any new or changed online voting system. We thank you for your patience as we complete the membership’s Executive Board election and move forward into March toward Executive Board Officer selection.

Best, Bob
