Meet RCS Leadership and Regional Staff

Residential Care Services (RCS) leadership and regional staff recently joined Adult Family Home Council members for an introductory meeting designed to strengthen communication, clarify points of contact, and reinforce RCS’s commitment to working collaboratively with adult family home providers across Washington. The meeting brought together regional administrators, field managers, administrative support staff, and headquarters leadership to help providers better understand who to contact for questions related to licensing, oversight, regulatory guidance, and operational concerns.

During the discussion, RCS representatives emphasized that providers should feel encouraged to reach out to their assigned regional staff with questions before issues escalate, and highlighted the value of continued engagement through AFH Provider Forums and other collaborative settings. The introduction also gave providers an opportunity to hear directly from RCS Headquarters Director Amy Abbott and Deputy Director Miriam Mina, who both expressed appreciation for the work of AFH providers and affirmed their interest in maintaining strong, constructive relationships with providers.
