
Significant Weather Alert: March 26
Widespread thunderstorms are forecasted today, March 26. There is also a slight chance for tornadoes and 2” diameter hail. Here are some quick tips from DSHS to consider in preparation:
- Anticipate power outages.
- Review plans for outages.
- Ensure all electronics are properly charged now.
- Take measures to protect vehicles from hail. Move to covers. If necessary cover vehicles with blankets, towels, etc.
- Make sure vehicles have fuel in the event movement/evacuations are needed.
- Secure outdoor items, such as furniture.
- Know where all utility shutoffs are.
- If any damages or disruptions occur from the weather, please report them to RCS through your normal channels.
