Evacuations and Emergency Alerts

Visit Spokane County Emergency Management for evacuation information, emergency contacts, and current updates.

Providers, staff, residents, and families can also register for official notifications through Alert Spokane.

Shelter and Immediate Assistance

The American Red Cross is providing shelter, meals, phone and medical-device charging, and other assistance. People may access shelter services even if they do not need to stay overnight, and identification is not required.

Smoke and Air Quality

Monitor current conditions through the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency.

Providers can also visit Smoke Ready Spokane for wildfire smoke information and guidance for reducing exposure.

Emergency Evacuation Reporting for Adult Family Homes

DSHS Residential Care Services has issued Dear Provider Letter 026-031 regarding emergency evacuation reporting.

If an adult family home evacuates, the home must report the evacuation to Residential Care Services.

Providers can report an emergency evacuation online or call 1-800-562-6078.
