Thank You for an Unforgettable 2026 Spring Conference!
We are filled with immense gratitude as we reflect on the 2026 AFH Council Spring Conference: In Good Hands — Advocacy & Guidance You Need to Thrive. From Auburn to Vancouver to Spokane, providers from across Washington State showed up, and showed out. This year’s conference was nothing short of extraordinary, and it would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
Thank You for Your Feedback
One of the most memorable moments of this year’s conference was the Council Leadership Q&A Forum that closed out each day. The questions were thoughtful, and the dialogue was candid. This demonstrated exactly why forums like this are so essential. This direct line between our membership and Council leadership is something we are deeply committed to building on.
Your feedback is not just appreciated, it is the foundation of everything we do. The experiences you shared, the challenges you raised, and the ideas you brought to the table are already at work influencing how the Council moves forward. This is your organization, and your voice is at the center of every decision we make.
See You in 2027!
If this year’s spring conferences showed us anything, it’s that our community is stronger, more engaged, and more determined than ever. We cannot wait to see you again next year. We hope to see the same incredible energy and even greater participation when we gather for the 2027 Spring Conference — and we encourage you to bring a fellow provider along for the journey

Membership fees enable the Council to cover legal expenses and fund staff to advocate with the state and regulatory agencies. The participation of every adult family home is vital to ensuring fair regulations and rates that accurately reflect the costs of caring for our vulnerable adults. Consider becoming a member of the Council to help us continue improving conditions for all adult family homes in Washington State.
