We hope this message finds you well. As you may be aware, John Ficker, who previously served as the Executive Director, is no longer with the Adult Family Home Council. We appreciate your continued trust, and thank you for your understanding regarding necessary obligations to keep personnel and employment matters confidential. We are grateful for his achievements during his tenure and are hopeful moving forward.
The Board is actively working together to identify a new qualified Executive Director, and to support the AFH Council staff and advocate for you, the members. The Board will keep you updated throughout the process as we are able. We expect to have a new Executive Director in the next few months. As we move forward, the capable Council staff and board will continue to work diligently to advance your interests, address your questions and support the ongoing legislative session.
Your feedback and engagement are incredibly important to us. We encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, and support. While there are some questions we may not be at liberty to discuss, we are dedicated to being open and responsive.
We invite you to join us for the Statewide Chapter Meeting on February 6, follow our weekly updates for information on legislative items we are pushing forward, and stay tuned for future calls to action. Your participation is a vital part of our continued success and unity during this time of change.
