Dementia Friendly Community

Learning Objectives:

  1. The learner will be able to define “Dementia Friendly Community.”

  2. The learner will be able to describe what a “Dementia Friendly Community” looks like.

  3. The learner will be able to describe current statistics for dementia.

  4. The learner will be able to define “Dementia Friends.”

  5. The learner will be able to describe the “5 Key Messages.”

  6. The learner will be able to utilize the Dementia Friends of WA and Clark County, HOPE and AADSWA resources in their care of people affected by dementia.
