Welcome Our New Education & Support Specialist!
My name is Cassidy Stewart and I am a new Education & Support Specialist for the Adult Family Home Council. I am thrilled to be a part of this small but mighty team and look forward to being a resource for providers and our community.
I am a social worker with a background in hospital and inpatient rehab case management. I specialized in complex case management and understand the complexities of navigating the healthcare system and working through barriers. Although I am newer to the long-term care side, I am confident my experience will help me get up to speed quickly (and I appreciate your patience while I am learning!).
I understand I am joining the Council during a time of transition and hope to be a reassuring presence that we are still here for you! I value communication, transparency, and education (send any ideas you have for future webinars my way 🙂). I am so excited to be part of an organization that is creating change for the better, thank you for the warm welcomes I have received so far.

The participation of every adult family home is vital to ensuring fair regulations and rates that accurately reflect the costs of caring for our vulnerable adults.
