| Starting January 1, 2026, new state requirements will change how AFHs must complete residency agreements and provide transfer or discharge notices for Medicaid residents. Join us to get clear, practical guidance on what must be included in your residency agreements, why these changes are being implemented, and what your responsibilities are when issuing a transfer or discharge notice. We’ll also walk through what to expect from the Office of Civil Legal Aid — including who they are, what they do, and how their involvement may affect your communication with residents.
