During the public health emergency DSHS added a temporary rate increase to AFHs and other long term care settings serving residents whose care is paid by Medicaid. Currently the COVID rate add-on is $5.58/day. On January 1, 2024 the rate will decrease to $2.79/day. This rate will remain in place until June 30, 2024 when it will drop to $0.
