House Bill 1265 Passed-Allows for Property Tax Exemption for Certain Nonprofit AFHs

The Washington State Legislature passed HB 1265 in the 2023 legislative session. This bill modifies the property tax exemption for adult family homes that serve people with intellectual or developmental disabilities and are owned by a nonprofit organization, corporation, or association.
