The state of Washington pays Medicaid rates to AFH providers that are well below actual costs. Rates are as low as $49 a day to provide housing, food and assistance to vulnerable adults. These rates are an insult to the needs of this population and the care that AFH providers offer. Help us demonstrate what the true costs of care are.
On April 5th or 6th WIPFLI an accounting firm out of Spokane sent emails to all adult family home council members inviting them to participate in a cost sharing exercise. Once we gather these costs, we can present this information to the policy and lawmakers in Olympia and demand fair pay for AFH providers.

As it says in the post, we are not managing the survey. WIPFLI is the accounting firm managing the survey. In order to ensure that there is objectivity in completing the survey, they are the ones that can send you the link

If said survey will be sent out to all non-member providers and/or entity owners, the survey would enlighten awareness and drive non-members to the association; thereby, the AFHC markets key opportunities to gather valued members.
Information on the survey was and continues to be sent out to all licensed AFH providers (members or not). The link to completing the survey are sent only to members. The reason is, that in order to complete a statistically valid survey, we wanted to only include those who are likely to complete the task. We have provided instruction for nonmembers interested in participating.
We are WAFCC members and did not receive a survey. We would be very willing to complete one; is it too late to get a link?

Am a new provider and as I started doing my survey I could not finish because one of the requirement they asked is if I have been a provider for 1 year which am not yet till September. Please advice on what to do.

I would like to be a part of this survey. I just got my license last Feb. 2016 from CHOW. I have 6 DD Medicaid clients. So it’s really tough financially.
